Week 8 Glitches - Diverticulitis & More

So this week started fine, but ended weird - with a flare-up of diverticulitis...
 

End of Week 7 - Bring on Recovery 2

Landmark day today, as I weighed in at 178.8! That's the first time in a couple of years that I've been down in the 170's.

Still it's interesting to note to that at the end of my 2nd challenge when I was at 5% back in 2000, I was 20 pounds LIGHTER. Not that it'm my goal to be that light again - it's not. I just must have been SO small!

Agoy - Backward in Yoga

Very intense Yoga session today, and I was really hoping my balance would be better today, but I'm convinced that my balance was way better just a couple of weeks ago...
 

Core Synergistics - Take 2

Continuing my recovery week, there was another day of Core Synergistics.

After the debacle that was my first attempt, I thought I'd start my day with the same routine as in my last blog post where I had a particlularly good Kenpo X Day...

 

Woah! Make a note....

Well, I don't know exactly what happened, but I want to make a note:

Today was Kenpo X and I had a whole new level of intensity today (especially compared to yesteday.)

Although last night was not another good night of sleep, and I was concerned that I might have another down day, that was definitely not the case...so I want to make note of how the day started, what I ate, etc. to test this again later:

 

Core Synergistics - Doggin' It

Ugh.

That pretty much sums up how I feel about today's workout.

Today was my first day with the Core Synergistics routine, and I would have to say that I simply didn't bring it.

There were a lot of rounds I couldn't complete because of either an inability for my core to keep engaged, or my cardio vascular system being unable to last.

Now I knew going in today that I felt "off."

 

Yoga with Angst

Week 4 began today, and as mentioned in the last video, it began with Yoga.

It was another sweaty affair today, but I found myself grumbling a lot today in two main areas:
